Privacy Policy

Tezi (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a native iOS application that displays data from a TeslaMate server that you host and control. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Tezi.

Data we collect about you

None. Tezi has no backend servers, no user accounts, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We never receive your vehicle data, your location, your credentials, or any usage information.

Data stored on your device

To function, Tezi stores the following locally on your device only:

• Server settings — the address and label of your TeslaMate server, plus your preferences (units, tariffs, per-vehicle photos and cost overrides), stored in the app's local database.
• Credentials — any access token, username/password, or Cloudflare Access secret you enter is stored in the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system and never transmitted anywhere except to your own server.
• Vehicle photos — if you choose a hero photo from your library, a copy is stored locally for that vehicle. Tezi accesses photos only through Apple's system picker and never scans your library.

This data is removed when you delete a server in the app, or when you delete the app.

Network connections

Tezi communicates only with the TeslaMate server address you provide, to read your vehicle data. This may be a server on your local network or a remote host you control. No data is sent to Tezi or to any third party. Because self-hosted servers are often reached over your local network, iOS may ask for permission to access devices on your local network — this is used solely to reach your server.

Purchases

Tezi offers an optional one-time “Tezi Pro” unlock through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payments are processed entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Tezi never sees your payment details; we only receive, from the device, whether the purchase is active.

Third parties

Tezi does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external system involved is Apple's App Store / StoreKit, for delivering the app and processing the optional purchase.

Children

Tezi is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
